Kureyon Air Cowl

This cowl by L & B Yarn Co. can be knitted in just a few hours! We used Noro Kureyon Air, a super bulky single ply yarn. Like all Noro Yarns it comes in brilliant self-striping colors. This yarn is 100% wool assuring that any project knit or crocheted in this yarn will be extra warm but the yarn is light and fluffy like “Air”.

This colorful cowl takes two hanks of yarn in two different colorways. The stitch in combination with the two different colors of yarn give the final project a woven look. To check out this pattern from L & B Yarn Co. just click here!!

Brioche Scarf

This Brioche Scarf pattern by Vanessa Ewing is the perfect pattern for a beginner two color brioche knitter. The basic brioche consists of just a few stitches that you already know, including: slips, yo, k2tog, and p2tog.

In the correct combination the stitches create a reversible finished project. Brioche is beautiful, textural, and appears to have vertical lines much different than just a rib stitch.

L & B Yarn Co. used 2 hanks of Plymouth Yarn Happy Feet, one multi and one tonal. The pattern can be downloaded for free on Plymouth Yarns website. Just click here!

I made the adult small with just one ball of the lovely Debbie Bliss Luxury Tweed. This yarn is soft, bouncy, and warm. This yarn is a must try if  you haven’t used it before I know you will love it.
