Emmaline

Emmaline

Sprout by Classic Elite Yarn is my favorite bulky cotton of all time!  It is 100% organic, making it environmentally friendly and it’s super soft.  Emmaline by Jennifer Wood is the perfect summer sweater with it’s cap sleeves and gathers giving it a Jane Austen feel.  The pattern is worked from the top down so there is no seaming involved.  You can also try on the sweater as you go to make sure you get the perfect fit.

The raglan increases are incorporated with the yarn over eyelets running across the front of the neckline and sleeves.  Increases are worked on the top section for the bust and the sweater is separated by a purl section to create an empire waist.

The sweater is worked in the round and is mostly knit in stockinette stitch making it a quick project!  Check out the pattern by clicking here.

Baby Mocs

Blooming Flower Cushion

The Blooming Flower Cushion by Lucy of Attic24 is a vintage potholder design from the 1940’s that has been altered to make this cute little pillow.

Lucy has an awesome picture-heavy tutorial that explains precisely how the circle takes shape. With her very detailed explanation you should not have any trouble giving this whimsical pattern a whirl. L & B used 6 different colors of Berroco Comfort.

The project is just as cute in a solid, you could also try just a couple of colors alternating them or even a gradient pallet is really beautiful. Try using up stash yarn and make several to give away as gifts! To take a look at the pattern just click here.

Hanasaku Cowl

The Hanasaku Cowl by Tori Gurbisz is a quick knit worked as one piece. Using the linen stitch and two different types of fibers together makes the finished project very textural. L & B Yarn Co. paired Bamboo Pop and Bamboo Bloom by Universal Yarn for a more lightweight version of the cowl.

The entire project is worked in the round until you use up all of the Bamboo Bloom. We even have enough Bamboo Pop left over to make a Knitted Knocker!!

The pattern is written with two different size options (long and short), the size can also be customized to use all of the yarn, you can bind off after any round 2. Just click here to take a look at the pattern!
