I fell in love with Milton by Jen Lucas the first time I saw a photograph! This shawl combines many different stitch combinations including cables, lace, and garter stitch.
It knits up beautifully in gradient yarn and the Done Roving Gradient Kit is perfect for this shawl shape. Milton is worked from one corner out forming an asymmetrical triangle.
Once the body of the shawl is complete a few stitches are cast on to form the lace border. I love the delicate vintage look of the shawl when it is complete. Click here to take a look at the pattern. L & B just received 7 colors of the Done Roving Gradient Kits so you are sure to find your favorite!
Each gradient skein is separate making it easy to choose your color order. Thank you to Carolyn for letting us photograph her lovely Milton!
These felted needle cases and knitting bags are absolutely adorable! These are fair trade items handmade in Nepal and designed by Frabjous Fibers.
They are made by artisans in Kathmandu skilled in the ancient craft of felt-making.
Wool fibers are laid out in the desired design, saturated with soap and water, and worked by hand to lock the fibers together.
This results in a sturdy, water repellent, and easy to clean fabric.
These items are made of 100% wool, cotton lined, and are truly fabulous!!
