Wild Thing

Where The Wild Things Are

While searching Ravelry for the perfect project to donate to the Positive Tomorrows annual toy drive I ran across Wild Thing by Susan Claudino. This precious little monster is inspired by Maurice Sendak’s unconventional children’s story, “Where The Wild Things Are.” The pattern has instructions for a basic monster, as well as a monster wearing adorable pajamas, complete with a buttoned flap on his tushie.

When I first saw the photograph I doubted my knitting skills while admiring all of his tiny pieces.  The project went so quickly and the pattern was so well written that I couldn’t stop knitting him and I decided to make three.
