Boomerang Shawl

Boomerang Shawl

This lightweight asymmetrical shawl by Natasha Sills is a fun quick knit.  We used two hanks of Tricked Out Ewe “Sock It to Me!”.  One Graffiti and one Jagged Sea Glass which gave us a hefty 926 yards of fingering weight to use up, and we did!  This would be a perfect project to use your stash on as well.  Pick your favorite multi and pair it with a semi-solid for a striped effect or just knit it out of one colorway.

Its shape is halfway between a triangle and a crescent, and it works with any yarn, any gauge.  You begin by casting on at the tip of the shawl and continuing until it reaches the size you want or until you run out of yarn.  Then just bind off!!

If you like the striped look it is also an easy project to practice carrying the second color.  If you are interested in the pattern just click here.  We are also offering this shawl as a class in May, just click here for more information.
