Cumulo-Mirasol Ushya

Materials:

Yarn: 2 Hanks of Mirasol Ushya

(1 Main Color & 1 Contrast Color)

Hook: S

 

Pattern:

Step 1: Chain 30 sts with Contrast Color, connect in the round with slip stitch being careful not to twist.

Step 2: *Bubble Stitch, Chain 1, Skip Stitch* repeat * around Slip Stitch to the top of Bubble Stitch.

Step 3: *Chain 1, Skip Stitch, Bubble Stitch* repeat * around Slip Stitch into the Chain Stitch.

Change to Main Color

Step 4: *Bubble Stitch, Chain 1, Skip Stitch* repeat * around Slip Stitch to the top of Bubble Stitch.

Step 5: *Chain 1, Skip Stitch, Bubble Stitch* repeat * around Slip Stitch into the Chain Stitch.

Repeat Step 4 & 5 once more

Step 8: *Bubble Stitch, Chain 1, Skip Stitch* repeat * around Slip Stitch to the top of Bubble Stitch.

 

Weave ends into project!

 

Bubble Stitch: *Yarn over Hook, Insert into hook into stitch* repeat until 9 wraps are on the Hook. Yarn over and pull through eight wraps (2 wraps left on hook). Yarn over and pull through 2. Bubble Stitch Completed! Elongate the yarn over to make the bubble stitch about an inch in length.

Introduction to Bramble Stitch

This $25 class will teach students how to create a bramble stitch while knitting this adorable hat. The class will be held Saturday, October 14th from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Students will need to bring 114 yards of bulky weight yarn, size 15 straight or circular needle, scissors, and tapestry needle. Students must sign up and pay 24 hours in advance for classes no refunds. Materials are not included.

Introduction to Crochet

This $25 beginner class will teach students how to chain and single crochet. The class will be held Saturday, September 16th from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Students will need to bring 180 yards of worsted weight cotton, H hook, scissors, and tapestry needle. Students must sign up and pay 24 hours in advance for classes no refunds. Materials are not included.

Knitted Knockers

Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. This free two part class will be held Saturday, October 21st  from 10:30am-11:30am and Saturday, October 28th from 10:30am-11:30am. The class will teach students the magic loop method.

Students will need to bring size 4 or 5-32″ needle L & B Yarn Co. will supply the yarn. Students must know how to knit in the round, increase, and decrease.
