Belfry & Boo-yah are another adorable donation to the 2017 Toy Drive! These patterns from Susan Claudino are a fun, quick and easy project for knitters at any skill level. All the shaping is made with increases and decrease stitches. The pattern is worked completely in the round and all the pieces are attached as you go so there is NO seaming, Yay! Belfry the Bat is approximately 5.25” tall from base to top of ears and Boo-yah! the Ghost is approximately 6” tall from base to top of head. Both samples were knit with dk-light worsted weight yarn.

So excited to receive our first donation for the 2017 Toy Drive! This adorable Butterfly & Cocoon by Susan B. Anderson is absolutely precious. The butterfly is worked in the round from the bottom up and stuffed as you go. The face detail, wings, and antennae are added after. The cocoon is worked from the bottom up in the round, then bound off at the beginning of the hood and continued in garter stitch. The top of the hood is grafted with stitches kept live at center of the good to make a I-cord loop.
