The Jeanie Scarf by Jo Allport Designs is knit using a lace fan motif creating an open lightweight garment. The key-hole style scarf is knit in one piece. The pass through portion is created with a seam after blocking making finishing simple and fast!! The pattern uses two hanks of Mana, an absolutely gorgeous hand painted pure mulberry silk yarn from Araucania Yarns. Mana is the Mapuche word for “sustenance from heaven” which describes the yarn perfectly.
The pattern is easy to follow with the lace pattern written in text and with a chart. Once you get started on this project you won’t want to stop!! To take a look at the pattern just click here.
