The Pleat and Eyelet Scarf by Lisa Craig puts a jaunty spin on this long-line summer scarf. The pleated panels are worked simply from a pattern of garter stitch rib with alternating knit and purl stitch columns. A row of bobbles adds texture and embellishes the pattern. The scarf is knit in Taiyo a worsted weight cotton blend and is worked in two pieces then joined at the center using the Kitchener stitch. The banded stockinette and garter stitch pattern is punctuated with eyelet rows in between.
The Pleat and Eyelet Scarf is another beautiful piece L & B has on display from the Noro Trunk show! The pattern can be found in Noro Magazine Issue 10. This show includes 16 models knit or crocheted in Taiyo Sock, Taiyo, and Marai so come by the shop to check out them all out.
